Dear Award Entrant,

About the discretionary entry fee:

The eAssessment Association (eAA) runs the annual awards to share and celebrate the many excellent projects demonstrating the value that technology brings to high quality assessment.

All proceeds from the Awards sponsorship and annual awards dinner are reinvested in our activity to support the assessment community with events and information. In both 2020 and 2021 we find ourselves unable to operate the awards dinner, which is a major source of revenue for the eAA.

Recognising that many of the commercial organisations which enter the annual awards gain significant marketing exposure, we are asking such entrants to make a discretionary entry payment of £100+vat for a single category or £200+vat for two or more categories.

We appreciate that some organisations may be unable to fund this for a variety of reasons and so, should that apply, then we have agreed to waive this fee without question.

Please note that the judges are unaware of which organisations have elected to pay the entry fee and which have not - payment has no impact on the likelihood of success for any entry.

If applicable, entry fees will be charged via invoice or Paypal online payment link, and will email the named contact on the award submission in the coming months.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Awards administrator, Karen via email to [email protected]  should you have any questions.
